Avery's pace is considerably slower than it had been at the beginning of their hike, and she trails behind a bit while Zac continues ahead. At the mention of there being thousands of miles of cave ahead of them, she very nearly faints. It's unrealistic of her, but she automatically- but temporarily- jumps to the assumption that they would be traveling the entire length of it.[break][break]

But with the setting of the sun and the dark damp of the cave ahead of her, dread and anxiety took root. The young woman braves a smile up at the man, suddenly aware of just how big he was in comparison to her. Of course, she'd always known, but now she took it not necessarily as a threat, but not exactly a comfort, either. [break][break]

Zac offers her a water bottle and she takes it meekly. Though her nerves prevent her from being able to properly open it. He mentions crypts, however, and Avery swallows, voice a stressed little whisper.[break][break]
